Just wanted to give a quick update here on the blog about my latest ventures in home brewing. In my last post, The New All Grain Brewing Equipment for Home Brewing, I showed you the new mash tun and keg converted to keggle. Since that video I've also purchased a new Bayou Classic SQ14 55,000 btu burner to use along with the keggle for all grain brewing.
In this first video I'm using the new burner with the converted keg to heat up my strike water so I can get a feel for how much heat my mash tun will absorb and how much heat loss I have after an hour. I've learned so much about All Grain Brewing since I've purchased this equipment and I'm still learning something every day seems like! LOVE this hobby!
